Choiseul Africa Seminar – Sustainable value chains in Africa

In partnership with the Confédération Générale des Entreprises de Côte d’Ivoire, the Institut Choiseul organised a seminar on sustainable value chains in Africa.

Two months before the Choiseul Africa Business Forum 2023,
this seminar brought together 200 business leaders from Côte d’Ivoire and the sub-region, as well as talent and experts from across the continent, to discuss best practice in the emergence of sustainable value chains in key sectors of the African economy.

To what extent should African value chains integrate sustainability issues? How can this transition to more sustainable value chains be financed? What are the challenges and opportunities for companies wishing to set up a sustainable value chain in Africa?

These key issues were addressed at three round tables in Abidjan on 14 September 2023.
