After two initial editions held in Nice, Choiseul Africa turned to the continent itself, organizing the Choiseul Africa Business Forum in one of its major economic capitals, Casablanca.
Since 2019, the Choiseul Africa Business Forum has been fostering synergies between African and European leaders through a unique business platform.
In a context marked by global crises and growing challenges, the Forum encourages collaboration between the most innovative African and European players to shape joint solutions.
For its 3rd edition, Choiseul Africa naturally moved closer to the continent by choosing Casablanca, a city that symbolizes the dynamic partnership between Europe, North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Honoured country for this edition, Madagascar was represented by its President, Andry Rajoelina, accompanied by a delegation of ministers and business leaders. This island nation enjoys a geostrategic position at the crossroads of the Indian Ocean’s maritime routes, offering direct sea access to the Arabian Peninsula, East Africa and Asia. Madagascar also boasts a remarkable diversity of mineral resources (precious stones, nickel, cobalt and oil) as well as significant agricultural potential. With its climate and breathtaking landscapes, the “Great Island” has also made tourism a key driver of the Malagasy economy. All these strategic sectors for Madagascar’s development were showcased during this edition of the Choiseul Africa Business Forum!
The Choiseul Africa Awards honor individuals who have made a significant impact on the continent through their remarkable economic and social engagement.
The awards ceremony is held each year shortly before the Forum’s closing session, in front of several hundred leading economic decision-makers.
